Dear athletes, coaches, and friends of rowing,
It is with great enthusiasm that I warmly
invite you to the 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships, taking place from 23–26 July in Duisburg. The Wedau Regatta Course – 2.180m long and 120m wide – has stood as a landmark of German sporting infrastructure since its inauguration in 1935.
In preparation for this event, the venue is undergoing comprehensive modernisation to ensure the best possible conditions for all participants and spectacular racing for our spectators.
I invite you, dear athletes and coaches, to be part of this inspiring championship and to showcase your talents before an international audience. At the same time, the U23 Championships offer a unique opportunity to forge friendships across national borders and exchange experiences that will support both your athletic and personal development.
I am especially proud of the modernized grandstand – with 2.077 seated places and up to 5.000 total capacity – which will bring you and our guests as close as possible to the racing event.

our partners- without whom this major event would not be possible.
